What’s Your Favorite?

Friends….it’s nearly time for the 2025 Stuart’s Fund fundraising event. Through the years, you’ve had the choice of Tees and sweatshirts in both adult and kids’ sizes.

How about we change it up this year? Would you be interested in that? Baseball hats, bucket hats, pocket-printed Tees, tote bags….even aprons and notebooks.

Please let us know your thoughts. Because what you think and do matters!

2024 Fundraiser Now Live!

Celebrate Stuart’s birthday today – he would have been 18 – with a gift to Stuart’s Fund! You need a T-shirt or hoodie to help find a test, a treatment and a cure for HSA (hemangiosarcoma).

You’ve helped raise more than $3,000 for research with you gifts over the last two campaigns.

Choose your shirts here and tell your friends. You can also make a donation through the “donate now” button on the blogroll. Just add the fund number 876913 to be sure that your gift gets where it needs to go.

We thank you. We appreciate you. You’re what keeps us hopeful that HSA will one day be a thing of the past.

Thank you!

With your help, $243.91 was raised through the 2022 Stuart’s Fund T-shirt campaign. Your purchases and generous donations made it possible. Today, with the help of a dollar-for-dollar match from The Scottie Chronicles, and a bit more to round up, $500.00 is being put to use for hemangiosarcome research at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.

You can still buy a shirt! Visit the Stuart’s Fund store and have fun shopping. While doing a tremendous service to help end HSA.

Your support means the world.

Thank you!

Prince Albert

If you follow us over on The Scottie Chronicles, you know that our Winston loves to go to the Farmers’ Market every Saturday. And you know that he’s sometimes a pissy Scottie.

There’s a lovable little Schnauzer he sees from time to time and this morning Prince Albert gave Winston the Schnauzer “lean in” and the two started to catch up with each other. Saying “hello” and “how’ve you been buddy?”

I noticed two shaved areas where coat was growing back and said, “aw, there’s a little IV shave.”

“He’s got hemangiosarcoma,” his peep told me.

I started crying and couldn’t stop. The searing pain of the shotgun through my heart when we learned Stuart had it came back with a fury.

Thank you for your support. Your gifts to Stuart’s Fund will help get rid of hemangio. The clinical trials your gifts help fund are working diligently to figure out this cancer.

Prince Albert may not have very long to live, but he’s living every day to the fullest. And we were grateful for the chance to play with him a bit this morning. As his peep says, “he doesn’t even know he’s sick.”

Thank you for what you’re doing to help say no to hemangio.
