Stuart’s Fund was created in August 2016 to raise funds for hemangiosarcoma research. Proceeds from the inaugural fundraiser went to the fund housed at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Today, Stuart’s Fund continues to provide funding for this critical research that may one day translate to the bedside for humans as well as dogs who suffer from this horrendous cancer.

If you’ve never heard of it, know this: hemangiosarcoma takes the lives of far too many dogs. Stuart passed from the visceral form of the disease for which there is no test and no cure.
